Michael Jenkins

Michael Jenkins is consultant within the Cyber Security unit of Crowe LLP's Consulting practice. He provides information security services for clients across industries, including assessment, penetration testing, and virtual security officer services.

Michael graduated with highest distinction from Purdue University with a bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity and Network Engineering Technology.

He is passionate about life-long learning, and in his free time, independently studies, tinkers with his HomeLab/smart home, and paints.

Cyber Security Consulting Staff
  • Performed Internal, External, and Web Application Penetration Testing for clients in the Public Sector, Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Life Sciences industries.
  • Conducted cyber security gap and maturity assessments against industry frameworks and regulations including NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, ISO 27000, NYCRR, and HIPAA.
  • Performed technical audits against hardened baselines of diverse systems, services, and network configurations, including Linux, Windows, Entra ID, and Active Directory.Assessed vendor diverse server, client, domain, database, network device, and application configurations against industry baselines using OpenScap, CCAT, and custom scripting.
  • Developed methodology, scripts, and integrated control frameworks to support new forms of assessment.
  • Provided virtual security officer services to a manufacturing organization including policy drafting, risk management activities, and acquisition transition planning.
